Lower Antelope Canyon Detail, Arizona

Lower Antelope Canyon Detail, Arizona

This is an additional shot from Lower Antelope Canyon from my American Southwest tour last month. It's difficult to know how much to share and post from this particular leg of the trip - I really found Lower Antelope Canyon to be beautiful from beginning to end, and could post photo after photo after photo. But I'm trying to spread it around between other shots from the tip. I've written plenty about our trip here and here, so I won't go on about it at great length. I'll just reiterate that, unlike in 2008 in Upper Antelope Canyon, here I focused on a longer focal length to isolate the details and textures. The wide shots showing the broader shapes of the canyon work wonderfully too, but this time I was mostly drawn to images like this.

You can see more photos from my fellow travelers Suad, John, and Scott as well, or check out our group photo pool.
