Refrigerator Canyon Erosion, Zion National Park

Back in August last year I shared a photo taken a while back (2011) in Zion National Park. Both were taken from within feet of each other along the West Rim Trail, along Refrigerator Canyon, on the way down from the Angel's Landing Hike. Although I appreciate the color of the sandstone throughout Zion, I preferred this particular view in a monochromatic treatment.

The orientation and scale of this eroded pattern a difficult to make sense of, which I like. However, if anyone would like to see this feature in context, it's actually visible on google street view here.
