Trail Guide - Four Mile Trail

I was able to hike about half this trail from the bottom up in March 2010. The views as you climb about the treeline open up to even-increasinly awesome views of Yosemite Falls, directly across the valley. Looking west, you have a reverse of the infamous Discovery View, looking back towards the Wowona Tunnel, with promenent views of Cathedral Rocks and El Capitan.

The Four Mile Trail appears in Orange below. It connects with the various trails of Glacier Point(shown in blue) once the top is reached some 3200 feet above. You can find an excellent trail guide at YosemiteHikes.com.
