Trail Guide - Inspiration Point Trail

Inspiration Point was the first hike I ever did in Yosemite National Park. When inevitably stopping to take in the views at the Wowona Tunnel, tucked away at the back of the parking lot across the road you find the trailhead up to Inspiration Point. It's a short but steep climb with several switchbacks, ultimately reaching views not unlike those at the Wowona Tunnel Parking lot, but higher and (sadly) slightly more obstructed. The trail continues upwards to join the Pohono Trail eventually reaching Stanford, Crocker, and Dewey Points.
